The Story of Neroli

The name “Neroli” comes from a 17th-century Italian princess who lived in Nerola and adored this scent so deeply that she wore it everywhere — on her gloves, in her bath, woven into her hair — and in doing so made it the most fashionable fragrance across all of Italy. But orange blossom’s story is far older. In Norse tradition, the goddess FREYA — ruler of love, beauty, and desire — was said to weep tears of amber and gold for her lost husband, and her longing was the force that drew hearts back together. Neroli carries that same energy: the ache of separation transformed into the warmth of new possibility.
