Your body carries you through everything — and sometimes it needs support. This soy wax rune candle channels the energy of EIR: the Norse goddess of health and healing, companion of Frigga, and the most skilled physician in all the nine realms. Crafted with bergamot, eucalyptus, and cedarwood, it fills your space with a clean, restorative fragrance that purifies the air, strengthens the immune system, and brings a sense of calm, grounded vitality. EIR heals not just the body — but the energy that sustains it. In the box: the candle, a ritual card with affirmation practice, and a guide to the aromatherapy properties of each scent.

EIR — Goddess of Health & Healing

In Norse mythology, EIR was one of the handmaidens of Frigga, queen of Asgard — and the most gifted healer among all the gods. Her name means "mercy" or "help," and she was called upon by those seeking recovery, strength, and protection from illness. EIR lived on a mountain called Læknáfjall — the Mountain of Healing — and only women were permitted to climb it and learn her arts. When you light this candle, you call on that same ancient, precise, compassionate healing force.

Bergamot

Bergamot has been a cornerstone of healing traditions from ancient Egypt to Renaissance Europe. Egyptian physicians used it to treat poisoning and fever; European herbalists prescribed it against plague and malaria. Avicenna called it the finest remedy for the heart. English sailors carried it aboard ships to prevent scurvy. In aromatherapy, bergamot lifts mood, relieves stress, and supports the body's adaptation to new conditions and challenges. It awakens creativity, strengthens life goals, and helps overcome difficult situations with clarity and resilience.

Eucalyptus

Eucalyptus is the cornerstone of respiratory aromatherapy — used across cultures in inhalations, chest rubs, and air-purifying rituals. Its sharp, camphor-like scent destroys airborne pathogens, purifies indoor air, and directly stimulates the immune system's defenses. In aromatherapy, eucalyptus is used to treat colds, influenza, and viral infections, and as a powerful preventative measure during illness season. It awakens the body's own healing intelligence and restores a sense of physical vitality.

Cedarwood (Atlas)

The cedar tree has been a symbol of abundance, strength, and leadership across ancient civilizations — from the temples of Lebanon to the sacred groves of the Himalayas. Its warm, woody scent has a deeply soothing and invigorating effect on the nervous system. In aromatherapy, cedarwood is used to calm irrational fears, ease aggression and hysteria, and support restful sleep. It builds confidence, strengthens personal authority, and gives a sense of comfort and inner stability — the foundation that healing requires.

How to Use

Light the candle during recovery, a wellness ritual, or any moment when you want to support your body and energy field. Let the fragrance fill the room for at least 30 minutes. Read the affirmation on the ritual card aloud or silently. Trim the wick to 5mm before each use to ensure a clean, even burn.
