The Myth of HEIMDALLR

HEIMDALLR was the watchman of the Norse gods — the guardian who stood at the bridge Bifröst, connecting Asgard to the human realm. He could see a hundred miles in any direction, hear grass and hair growing, and slept less than an eagle. He watched day and night without rest so that the gods could rest in peace. HEIMDALLR is the archetype of vigilant, unwavering protection — the force that stands between you and what would harm you.

The Ingredients

Sage
A plant of the element of Air, under the protection of Jupiter. Its Latin name means “healthy.” Ancient physicians Hippocrates and Dioscorides called it sacred. In ancient Egypt and Rome it was used in purification rituals, and could only be harvested barefoot, clad in white, after performing rites of cleansing and offering. Druids considered sage one of the most potent plants for communicating with the Otherworld and predicting the future. In aromatherapy it purifies the air and the energy field.

Myrrh Resinoid
Valued equally to gold throughout history. The Bible tells of the Three Kings who brought myrrh to honor the newborn Jesus. For over a thousand years it was one of the most valuable commodities in the world. Myrrh stills the mind, prevents distraction, and is particularly suited to meditation — it wards off egocentric thoughts, restores psychological objectivity, calms irritation, and improves sleep. A sacred resin of protection, healing, and clarity.

Atlas Cedarwood
The tree of abundance and leadership. Calming and restorative, cedarwood is recommended when fear, emotional volatility, or sleeplessness take hold. It symbolizes abundance and strengthens belief in your own abilities. A steady, anchoring base that holds the protective energy of the entire blend in place.

How to Use

Add 3–5 drops to your diffuser and run it for 30–60 minutes. Use in the morning to set a protective intention for the day, or in the evening to cleanse the energy you have accumulated. You can also diffuse it after difficult social interactions or whenever you feel energetically drained. Use the included ritual card to build a daily shielding practice.
