THE NORNS — Weavers of Fate

In Norse mythology, the NORNS were three powerful female beings — Urðr (What Was), Verðandi (What Is), and Skuld (What Shall Be) — who lived beneath the roots of Yggdrasil, the world tree. Every day they drew water from the sacred Well of Urðr and poured it over the roots, keeping the tree alive. On those same roots, they carved the destiny of every human and every god.
