Built on a layered fragrance pyramid of petitgrain, coriander, juniper berry, agarwood, cedar, frankincense and vetiver. Up to 30% perfume essence in a food-grade alcohol base. One bottle scents your home continuously for 3 to 5 months.

The ODIN Fragrance Diffuser is built on the classical perfumery tradition of fragrance pyramids: layers of scent that shift over time, evolving as the weeks pass until the last drop evaporates months later.

In Norse mythology, Odin is the chief god of war and wisdom. He dwells in Asgard, where from his throne Hlidskjalf he watches over all nine worlds. Odin gave life to the first humans, Ask and Embla. He sacrificed an eye for knowledge and hung from Yggdrasil for nine nights to receive the runes. This blend carries his intention: the strength to face what stands before you and the clarity to see through it.

Head notes open first. Petitgrain (bitter orange) is one of the most effective essential oils for fighting undesirable psychological states. It lifts mood while simultaneously relaxing. Petitgrain calms, revitalizes and helps you fight fatigue and stress. In old tradition, a bride's bouquet perfumed with this oil was believed to ensure a successful marriage.

Coriander seeds follow. The word "coriander" comes from the Greek, meaning "anise" and "bedbug." Unlike fresh leaves, the seeds carry a pleasant aroma of flowers and lemon. The fragrance energizes, helps you release fears, encourages action and builds self-confidence and creative momentum.

Juniper berry bridges the head and heart. Since ancient times, juniper has been burned at doorways to ward off negative energy. Its scent builds perseverance and personal authority. It helps you see through confusion, protects the energy field from outside aggression and brings the kind of decisiveness that difficult situations demand.

Heart notes emerge next. Agarwood, mentioned in Sanskrit Vedas, the Old Testament and Islamic scriptures, has been used in incense and perfume for thousands of years. Aquilaria trees are called god-trees. Agarwood was considered so potent it could cleanse the soul and banish dark influence. Traditional Chinese medicine views it as warming, balancing, mind-clearing and transformative.

Base notes anchor the whole. Cedar calms, strengthens and rejuvenates. It gives a feeling of comfort and is recommended when you feel unfounded fear, aggression or insomnia. Like all nut-bearing trees, cedar symbolizes abundance and wealth. It reinforces leadership and confidence in your own strengths and abilities.

Frankincense deepens the base. Named from the French "franc," meaning luxurious, frankincense has been burned on altars and in temples since ancient Greece. It slows and deepens breathing, helping you settle into calm, prayer or meditation. Frankincense resin was one of the gifts the Three Kings brought to the newborn Christ.

Vetiver completes the foundation. Nourishing and cooling, vetiver oil relaxes the overactive mind while strengthening and grounding every aspect of your being.
