You have something to create — and you need the conditions to let it through. This perfumed home spray channels the energy of BRAGI: the Norse god of poetry and eloquence, who gave artists the mead of inspiration and unlocked the voice within. A single spritz opens with basil, fig, and hemp, deepens into water lily, and settles into a rich base of labdanum, sandalwood, opium accord, and white musk. BRAGI does not give talent — he removes what blocks it. In the box: the spray and a ritual card with affirmation practice and usage guide.
BRAGI — God of Poetry & Inspiration
In Norse mythology, BRAGI was the god of eloquence, poetry, and the arts — the divine patron of all who create. He inspired humans by offering them a drink of the mead of poetry, brewed from the blood of Kvasir, the god of wisdom. BRAGI was not a god of raw power — he was a god of the inner voice made audible, of the idea that finally finds its form. When you spray this fragrance, you call on that same creative, articulate, generative force.
Basil
In ancient times, basil was considered a plant of kings — only members of noble families were permitted to harvest it. In magical tradition, basil is used to attract love and prosperity, and to inspire ambition and the courage to pursue goals. It is associated with the energies of Mars and Mercury, accumulating their drive and communicative power. In aromatherapy, basil activates creativity, sharpens focus, and encourages bold action toward new challenges.
Fig
Fig trees are among the earliest cultivated plants in human history. The Bible records Adam and Eve covering themselves with fig leaves after gaining consciousness — making the fig a symbol of the threshold between the conscious and subconscious mind. In magical tradition, the aroma of fig is associated with clairvoyance, intuition, premonition, and conscious dreaming. It helps the practitioner listen inward and access the deeper layers of creative knowing.
Hemp
Rich, sharp, and exotic — hemp's aroma has a calming and soothing effect that dissolves reserve, negativity, and creative block. It boosts imagination and fantasy, and in traditional medicine cannabis oil is used for its antidepressant and anti-inflammatory properties. Since ancient times, hemp seeds have been considered a symbol of harvest and abundance — the fertile ground from which new ideas grow.
Water Lily
The Latin name of the water lily family, Nymphaeaceae, derives from the Greek nymphs who lived in lakes, rivers, and streams — so water lilies carry deep water and lunar energy. They symbolize tranquility, purity, spiritual radiance, and humility. In aromatherapy, water lily calms earthly desires and soothes the soul. During magical rituals, its aroma enhances imagination and the ability to visualize goals with clarity and precision.
Labdanum
Ancient sacred resin with a history stretching back to the Egyptian pharaohs — whose false beards were made from the hair of goats that grazed in labdanum bushes, absorbing its musky, royal scent. Some Bible scholars believe labdanum was one of the key components of sacred temple incense. In magical tradition, it is used for protection, attracting prosperity, and commanding respect. Its deep, resinous warmth grounds creative energy and gives it weight and permanence.
Sandalwood
Sandalwood has been sacred in Eastern cultures for thousands of years — used to build temples, carve statues of gods, and burn as offering during meditation. Its warm, creamy, woody scent harmonizes the nervous system and lifts mood in cases of depression, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. In ritual tradition, it is believed to attract divine presence and open the channel between the conscious mind and deeper knowing — exactly what creative work requires.
Opium Accord & White Musk
Opium accord is cold, resinous, and quietly intense — a fragrance of the threshold between waking and dreaming. It awakens consciousness, induces lucid states, and creates a bridge to the subconscious, helping surface hidden thoughts and reveal the root of creative blocks. White musk brings vitality, sensuality, and openness — a potent aromatic aphrodisiac that stimulates the senses and opens the deepest layers of the soul to expression.
How to Use
Spray 2–3 times into your creative space, studio, or workspace before a session of writing, painting, music, or any creative practice. Read the affirmation on the ritual card aloud or silently. The fragrance will evolve — from bright, herbal top notes to a deep, resinous base.
